As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (IMH25874) under supervision, I offer holistic mental health counseling that encompasses various concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and personal growth.
How long are counseling sessions, and what can I expect during them?
Counseling sessions typically last between 45 to 60 minutes. During our sessions, we'll engage in person-centered conversations and mindfulness-based practices tailored to your unique needs, fostering self-awareness, self-compassion, and growth.
How often will we meet, and for how many sessions?
The frequency and duration of our sessions will be collaboratively determined based on your goals and progress. Initially, we may meet weekly or biweekly, with the option to adjust as we work towards your desired outcomes.
Is my privacy protected during counseling sessions?
Yes, confidentiality is of utmost importance in our counseling relationship. As a student intern, I adhere to strict ethical guidelines and legal standards to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of our sessions, unless there is a concern for your safety or the safety of others.
